Medical scientists Alexander Gireev and Vladimir Shulgin have invented a medicine that can cure any disease, even a cancerous tumor. But the drug, which could save the world, becomes a source of conflict for the entire family. Gireev’s eldest son, Evgeny, decides to help his father promote the product. His daughter, Polina, is convinced that her brother only wants fame and money, and he is ready to betray his father. And Gireev himself turns out to be unprepared for the compromises that the big pharmaceutical market demands of him. After all, producing medicines is a profitable business. And why produce something that will cure people if you can make more money while they’re sick?
